What is Bookendo?▸

It includes appointment scheduling, client management, digital consent forms, inventory tracking, automated messaging, payment processing, and business reports.

Independent beauty professionals and small to mid-size beauty businesses — including permanent makeup artists, tattoo artists, estheticians, hair stylists, nail technicians, lash artists, and spa owners. If you provide in-person beauty or wellness services, Bookendo was built for you.
How do I sign up?▸
Visit bookendo.com/register, fill in your business details, and you're ready to go. Setup takes less than 5 minutes. You get a 14-day free trial with full access — you won't be charged until day 15.
Is there a free trial?▸
Yes. Every new account gets a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. A credit card is required at signup, but you won't be charged until the trial ends. You can cancel anytime during the trial at no cost.
Can I migrate from another platform?▸
Yes. If you're currently using Booksy, Vagaro, Square Appointments, or another booking tool, we can help you migrate your client data and appointment history. Contact us at support@bookendo.com and we'll guide you through the process.
Pricing & Billing
How much does Bookendo cost?▸
Bookendo starts at $24.99/month for the first professional, with full access to all features — unlimited appointments, clients, digital consent forms, inventory, reports, and payment processing. Each additional artist is $15.99/month. You start with a 14-day free trial. No hidden tiers, no feature gating.
What's included in the All-in-One plan?▸
Every plan includes unlimited appointments, clients, digital consent forms, inventory management, business reports, payment processing, a public booking page, and automated reminders via app. You also get 200 SMS, 500 emails, and 100 voice calls per month. If you need more, you can purchase additional packs directly from your dashboard — they never expire and stack on top of your monthly allowance.
Can I cancel anytime?▸
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Do you offer refunds?▸
If you're not satisfied within the first 30 days of a paid subscription, contact us at support@bookendo.com and we'll issue a full refund. After 30 days, you can cancel anytime to stop future charges.
Payments & Deposits
How do payments work for my clients?▸
When a client books through your public booking page, they can pay a deposit or the full amount. Payments are processed securely through Stripe or PayPal. The funds go directly to your connected payment account — Bookendo never holds your money.
Is payment processing secure?▸
Yes. Bookendo never stores credit card numbers. All payment data is handled directly by Stripe or PayPal through their PCI-compliant infrastructure. We use bank-level encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data transmission.
What payment methods can my clients use?▸
Your clients can pay with credit cards, debit cards (in-person, online, or via virtual terminal), Klarna, Afterpay, Amazon Pay, and other popular methods. All payments go directly to your business bank account — Bookendo never holds your funds.
Booking & Appointments
Do my clients need to create an account?▸
No. Clients book directly through your public booking page without creating an account. They select a service, choose a date and time, and enter their contact info. Designed to be frictionless.
Can I require deposits for bookings?▸
Yes. You can require a deposit (fixed amount or percentage) when clients book online. This significantly reduces no-shows.
Consent Forms
How do digital consent forms work?▸
Create custom templates in your dashboard, then send them to clients via email or SMS before their appointment. Clients fill in their info, upload a photo ID if required, and sign digitally. A legally-compliant PDF is generated automatically.
Are digital consent forms legally valid?▸
Yes. Digital signatures are legally recognized under the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA. Each signed form includes a timestamp, IP address, and a unique certificate of completion.
Security & Privacy
How is my data protected?▸
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and stored on secure, dedicated servers in the United States. Each business has completely isolated data. We perform automated daily backups with 30-day retention.
Do you sell my data?▸
No. We never sell, share, or monetize your data or your clients' data. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Can I export my data?▸
Yes. Export your client list, appointment history, and reports to CSV at any time. Your data belongs to you.
